About Us
Children’s Learning Company in Bronx, NY, is a private preschool and childcare center for children between the ages of two and five. We do accept families that have state/city subside (vouchers). Operating since 2005, we are registered with the State Education Department, and have licensed teachers and certified teachers’ assistants who are CPR and first aid certified as well as fully background checked and fingerprinted.
We offer the Highscope curriculum for weekly lesson plans, a private playground and small class sizes in order to provide one-on-one attention.
We are located in a commercial building, and are not a home-based program provider.
We work with you and your child to develop a program which encourages personal growth. From one-on-one tutoring to enhanced course work, our staff works with you to help your child develop to their full potential.

Staff Involvement
Our staff interacts and responds to your children by showing affection, interest and respect:
- Encourage children to use spoken language to solve their problems
- Encourage cooperation and sharing, helping children to recognize and respect other children and promote positive behavior
- The staff will always speak to your children in a friendly, courteous manner and provide a nurturing and loving environment
Communication
Communication is very important. We encourage parents to inform the teacher of any changes at home that may affect your child’s behavior. Situations which affect the children, such as a new sibling, new step parent or death in the family. Under these circumstances we can be more accommodating of their moods and be more supportive to your children.
Parent Involvement
Obviously, you are not able to be present with your child the entire time they are in pre-school. However; we welcome and encourage you to meet with your child’s teacher and to participate in projects, as well as other activities. We provide an equal learning opportunity, loving and caring for children for who they are, regardless of their background. It is very important that both the parents and the school work together to help the child to achieve their full potential.
